What TwoKeys is, and what it isn't

Plain language, not fine print no one reads. If you only read one page on this site before signing up, make it this one.

This page is a plain-language summary for users, not a substitute for formal Terms of Service or a Privacy Policy — those will be added before TwoKeys accepts real listings or payments. Nothing here is legal advice.

TwoKeys is an advertising and matching platform, full stop

TwoKeys connects people who are looking for a co-buyer, and separately connects buyers with property listings and lawyer partners. That's the entire service. TwoKeys is not a real estate agency, does not represent any buyer or seller, and never negotiates, brokers, or participates in any actual transaction.

TwoKeys does not verify anything you're told

When a seller lists a property, they declare that they hold a registered title. When a contributor creates a profile, they declare their own NHT status and budget. TwoKeys does not independently verify any of these declarations — the same way Zillow doesn't verify that a listing's square footage is accurate. Verifying a seller's title, a buyer's eligibility, or anyone's identity beyond a basic profile review is always the responsibility of your own lawyer, done during the actual closing process.

TwoKeys never touches money

  • No purchase funds, deposits, or NHT disbursements ever pass through TwoKeys.
  • Any partner fees (from sellers, lawyers, or agents) are for advertising placement only — never tied to any specific transaction closing.
  • All money in an actual property purchase moves directly between the buyer, co-buyer, seller, and lawyer, entirely outside this platform.

Why profiles and connections are manually reviewed

Every buyer profile is checked by a person before it becomes browsable, and connection requests are facilitated by a person rather than exposing contact details publicly. This is a safety measure, not a verification service — it reduces obvious bad actors and spam, but it is not a background check and should not be treated as one. Always exercise your own judgment before sharing personal or financial details with anyone you connect with through this platform.

Land and title requirements

Only properties with an already-registered title are eligible to be listed. This is a listing-eligibility requirement, not a service TwoKeys performs — sellers self-declare this at the time of listing. If a property does not have a registered title, it cannot be listed here, and TwoKeys does not offer or facilitate any title regularization service.
